Winona-Ryder

Winona Laura Horowitz, professionally referred to as Winona Ryder was born in Winona Minnesota. She was named by her parents after the town in which she grew in. Michel Horowitz was her father as well as Cynthia Palmer, his mother are both authors as well as editors. Ryder's father came from the Jewish family. Ryder considers herself Jewish. She is also half-sister to Sunyata Jubal. Her older sibling is Uria. Ryder's family relocated to Mendocino County, California, when she was just seven. There were no electric lights. Ryder began to be a committed book reader because there was no TV. Ryder took acting classes at the age of Ryder was 12years old at the American Conservatory Theatre. At the age of fifteen, she landed her first acting job on the screen in Lucas. Ryder was bullied in high school. Ryder believed that her future as an actress could bring about change. But, unfortunately, that didn't happen. But she pushed on with her dream. Beetlejuice, a 1988 Tim Burton film, was her debut big break. Ryder kept playing successful roles in several movies. In 1993 she received two nominations for Academy Awards. One of them for her role In The Age of Innocence.
