Drew Blythe Barrymore, born 22nd February 1975 is an American actress. Numerous accolades have been awarded to her including the Screen Actors Guild Award and a Golden Globe, five Emmy Award nominations, as well as the BAFTA nomination. She belongs to the Barrymore actor clan and the granddaughter of John Barrymore. Barrymore achieved fame as a child actress with her part in E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial. After a turbulent childhood full of alcohol and drug abuse, she published Little Girl Lost, an autobiography. In the 1990s she appeared in numerous films, such as PoisonIvy Boys on the Side and Mad Love. Barrymore was also a part of Adam Sandler in a few films, including The Wedding Singer and 50 First Dates. Barrymore became famous as a child actor with her appearance on E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial.
